Merman Assassin Tattoo

May 21, 2010

A while back I was commissioned by a nice fellow to draw a merman type tattoo for him.  We came up with a Merman Assassin type of fellow.  Mr. Andy recently sent me some of these rad photos of his tattoo and his tattoo in action.  My favorite ones are of course the ones where the arm feeding the alcohol features my drawing !!! Hee hee.

Weekend Snowboards Artist Series Draft

Originally uploaded by Michael C. Hsiung

This is the layout draft for the second snowboard design. The background will be a solid color and the drawings will be black and white and red. So far, I think I’m right on track since my project deadline is June 1st. I’ll be adding some schools of fish and a raccoon (their logo) in a inter-tube somewhere in the background. Okay, back to work.

I just got my bamboo iphone case package yesterday right as I was stepping out for a wedding. It’s really cool and comes with cardboard printout of the design and great packaging. I thought I’d take a photo and let those who were wondering see what they’ll actually get. Anyhow, hit me up for a 25% percent code if you want your own Michael C. Hsiung case. Thanks!

It’s always fun to try and draw t-shirts for band contests. Dunno, just can be fun. This is one I did for the Peasants without the text added. Monsieur Elegin is so into his tunes that he can’t really control his music love/rage. He’s paarrrrtttyyyingg it up.
